Romford – Out-house Project

This project was a unique opportunity for us to show our diversity and adaptability when a client approaches us to help them expand the space in their home. Unfortunately, this client had already utilised the loft and rear extension options, so the only opportunity to create space was within the rear garden.

We have created a great build in the form of a summer house/out-house, which provides a great open plan space for another reception room or an office away from the main house. The light and airy interior, combined with traditional brick construction, means that the building is perfect for use in the summer and winter. Because the cavities are fully insulated and the windows are doubled glazed, the structure complies with building regulations and has an energy performance rating of A. On top of this the building comes with a separate toilet and storage, giving the client all the flexibility they could need, and another option when considering how to use this space.

The project allowed us to show what we are capable of many fronts, from plumbing and tiling, to roof and electrical work – showing that we can deliver all trades to a very high standard. Not only this, the foundations and drainage were covered by our team and produced an overall solid building at a very reasonable cost. A priceless bit of real estate for the middle of London!
